About the role

You will build the interfaces for the websites, client portals and admin panels we ship: fast, accessible, well-structured UI in Next.js and Tailwind CSS, working closely with the engineers building the APIs underneath.

What you will do

  • Turn designs and rough briefs into clean, responsive interfaces in Next.js and Tailwind CSS.
  • Build and maintain reusable components that the rest of the team can build on.
  • Keep pages fast: sensible rendering choices, image and font loading, and no unnecessary client-side JavaScript.
  • Fix layout, accessibility and cross-browser issues as they come up.
  • Demo your work to clients every week and act on what you hear.

You might be a good fit if

  • You have built and shipped production interfaces with Next.js and Tailwind CSS.
  • You have a good eye for spacing, type and layout, even without a design file to follow exactly.
  • You care about accessibility and semantic HTML, not just how it looks.
  • You can work independently and communicate clearly in writing.

Nice to have

  • Experience with design systems or component libraries.
  • Experience with React Server Components or the Next.js App Router.

How we work

  • A remote-first team, working with clients in the US, UK and India.
  • We ship working software every week and show it to the client.
  • Clients own the source code and infrastructure we build, so we earn our next project by doing this one well.
